i really quite love this ideal. earlier this year i decided to try to play every demo in Nextfest on Steam within the week, which i didn't get even near (i think i came under 150 demos tried? i'm gearing up to attempt to do so again this upcoming fest with a big more prep, i hope to get further) but even the attempt to do so exposed me to so many wonderful games that i doubt i would've heard of if i hadn't tried. this is great, i love having games to play and look forward to!
it also exposed me to many games that i would never in a hundred million years have ever loaded up on my deck, or even clicked on. these games that are 'bad' (whether bad for the mechanics or the art, the motive in making or the depiction of its themes) are still great to experience in some form - humans become a part of humanity our connections, and that canvas of human creativity is a canvas of humanity. creators can only become by being exposed to others creations, and this exposure to the cloth shapes what we wish to thread onto it.
sighs, that was a bit of a ramble. *grabs my megaphone* let's all play every game in existence, then make some more!
This is a nice thought and sentiment, every game is unique. Taking it literally, I would be very overwhelmed by this massive amount of games, I've played nearly 200 in the past weeks, which is already too much. It hurts my head.

i love this - i think it's important to distinguish "play" from "defeat" - like i'm sure i could find some joy in an OVER-LONG aaa game?
